I have used the MX mini thus far on bluetooth with zero issues though. So getting the business model for $46,74 seemed decent to me since it includes the receiver. I've been using unifying forever and it's weird they just kind of threw bolt out there without a proper explanation Thanks, I was looking at mice the other day and noticed the same mouse (forget the model) but one package had the bolt and one had the unifying and I couldn't find anything about bolt. I hope someone who has used both unified and bolt will comment and share their experience. Once the chip and the USB port are properly touching again you will see the receiver show up in the Mac Systems USB panel and in Logitech Control Center, as others pointed out. The fix is to remove the black cover, remove the chip, insert a piece of paper that raises the metal connectors of the chip closer to your laptop's USB connector. Once you’re sure the Logitech dongle is not working, here is a DIY repair you could try if you can’t get a repair / replacement part: You should see that device be listed and know your Mac and USB are fine. You can confirm this by removing logitech, then plugging in another usb mouse or something and refreshing the System Information. The drivers are probably fine but idle since they don’t see the USB hardware for Logitech. The system information is showing that the hardware is not being detected. ![]()
